Christina Rucker's Obituary
Christina Rose Rucker, of DuPont, Washington passed away on Thursday. April 25, 2019 at the age of 35 years. She was born on December 2, 1983 to loving parents Clyde James, Jr. and Michelle Ward, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Being born into a military family Christina had the opportunity to live in many different places, After having lived in Germany for 5 years in the 1990’s Christina moved with her parents and Siblings to DuPont, Washington in the South Sound where Christina grew up with her sister and brother, Vanessa Ward 30 and Andrew Ward 26. She attended Steilacoom High School and completed her Associates Degree through the University of Phoenix. She took pride in her role as an Secretary to the Director of Instructional Technology at Bethel School District, where she worked for 10 years.
Christina was the proud mother of three children, Karter 16, and Abigale 12 and Riley 10, whom she greatly adored. In addition to her parents, children, and siblings, she is survived by her Grandmother Ruth Ward and her niece and nephew Arianna Williams 12 & Branden Williams 11. She is also survived by many of her friends who she considered a part of her family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in her honor, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 11:30 am at the Aspen Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, Washington, 98499. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions for her children can be donated to a go fund me page being setup by friends.
