Christiannel Lyle Macapagal Maningat's Obituary
Christiannel, also known as “Shiannel,” “Nel,” or “Nhey” will always be remembered as one of the kindest and most selfless people anyone knows. She was so brave and strong throughout her life even until her last moments. Shiannel had her priorities straight when it came to her siblings and would never hesitate to be there for them.
Shiannel never really enjoyed school but that did not stop her from being an amazing student to have completed so many academic achievements along with the new friendships she had made in her college years. She has been on the dean’s list and was preparing to complete her last quarter to graduate with Bachelors of Computer Science at UW Tacoma. She was also excited to have been hired to her new job at Crumbl Cookies; we could never have been any prouder of her for stepping out of her comfort zone. We were all so excited to finally see her take her next step in life, but unfortunately the rest of her life had been taken from her too soon.
We thank you and everyone else who came to celebrate her. Seeing the amount of people who love and care for her gives her and her family so much ease. It is difficult not to love Shiannel - she had such a contagious laugh that came with that beautiful dimpled smile. She was so beautiful, inside and out. She showed so much love and support to her mother, sister, friends and her boyfriend Sir. She will always be here with us in our hearts and that will never change.
