Christiane Suzanne Hagey's Obituary
Christiane Suzanne Hagey place of birth Ville De Colombes, France was born on October 17, 1924. Christiane Suzanne Gorman
passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 97 in Bonney Lake Washington near her son Michael Edward Gorman.
Christiane enjoyed snow skiing in the French mountains when she was a young girl. As a young woman, Christiane worked on military bases helping as
a civilian with book keeping and administrative duties. Christiane also enjoyed oil painting, gardening especially roses and a had great passion for photography.
Later after raising a family, she attended Pierce College and became a teacher's aid in Computer Technology making many friends with her students and staff.
She was well liked at the school and was remembered not only as a popular teacher, but she was a daily swimmer at the pool, so some of her staff and students
created a beautiful cut out of her swimming. The times I was enrolled at Pierce College, I would go see my Mom, and I would hear the students call her the
"Computer Lady". The students really respected her.
She was a great mother and as a wife, loved her husband John with all her heart until his passing in 1996.
My Mom has always been there for us and she will be missed.
Chistiane Suzanne Haegy - Gorman is survived by her twin children son Michael Edward Gorman and daughter Linda Marie Backus.
Her father Desire Marcel Haegy and mother Suzanne Isabelle Leonie Jadot both passed away years ago.
She had I believe at least three siblings a brother Marcel Haegy and two sisters who also passed away years ago.
I would like to thank everyone for assisting my mother during her last years. I am really amazed at the dedication of all the caregivers the staff included.
A heartfelt warm Thank You to the staff at the Village Retirement Home, Life Care South Hill, St Joesph Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, Cottesmore of Life Care,
Oasis of Hope AFH and to all the doctors, nurses and first responders that cared for my mother. The world is blessed to have all of you in it.
