Chirste A. Jacobsen's Obituary
Chirste A. Jacobsen died March 20, 2016 at home, peacefully, among family. Born August 3, 1931 in Tacoma, WA, where she grew up, married, and had three sons. She was a loving wife, mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and friend to all who knew her. She held many job titles over her life, but the most important to her was that of homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold. She is survived by her three sons, Chris and wife Sandy of Troy, MI, Paul and wife Heidi of Tacoma, WA, Gene and wife Tammy of Clifton, VA, eight grandchildren [Amy (Pat), Kristy, Kenny (Kim), Stacy, Patty (Aaron), Vicky, Brandon (Daisy) and Noelle (Chris)], seven great-grandchildren (Mikayla, Emma, Summer, Amber, Cody, Hunter, Clayton), her two brothers Alan and Henry Stakset of Tacoma, WA and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. Viewing will be held Thursday, March 24th from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral service in the Valley Chapel on Good Friday, March 25, at 1:00 PM with a reception to follow at the Celebration Center at 13603 86th Ave E Puyallup, WA 98373. Memorials may be made to Celebration Center.
