I was thinking about you tonight and I shed a tear. I miss you so much.
I miss the fun we had. I miss you more and more each day. I can’t wait until we meet in Paradise.
Cheryl was my Maid of Honor at my wedding. I was one of her service buddies. We went everywhere preaching and teaching the Good News of the Kingdom. I love Cheryl and miss her. Until we meet in Paradise rest in Jehovah’s Memory. Revelation 21:3,4
Always, Dorothy Jones
Cheryl will be so greatly missed, her sweet personality and warm smile will always be etched on our hearts.
Dicey, Val, & Melaina- We are truly sorry for the loss of another family member. Cheryl was a jewel and I know it must hurt deeply now that she is gone.
Cheryl was s such a spiritual, loving and happy person with the best deep gut laugh. She loved people and was truly interested in them. Anytime she greeted them, she wanted her hugs and my family made sure to indulge her when we saw her.
We met her soon after moving to Tacoma and she became like family to us right away. There was a time when my kids were small and I needed to go to work, that she helped take care of them when my mother wasn't available. I really appreciated her willingness to jump in there and help my family during our time of need. She was always happy to help and seemed proud that we fondly called her our "Auntie Cheryl."
After moving to the Samoan congregation, she would always welcome us with her usual smile and greeting Talofa when she came back to visit our congregation. It was her signature hello. Being able to help support that foreign language congregation, despite her health struggles, obviously made her so happy. It was evident in her smile and all of the happy experiences she constantly relayed. We were so encouraged to see her love and self-sacrifice in doing all she could for Jehovah.
For many years, whenever we had to go out of town, we always asked Cheryl to house and dog sit for us. She was our go-to sitter! It was a wonderful arrangement for both of us. She cared for everything just like we would and she seemed to enjoy having some alone time, having the remote all to herself, a good supply of foods she liked, and a little doggie company. But as the years went on, once we came home and found something unusual. There was a cute trail of food around the house. We figured Cheryl must've been eating something and walking, but because her eyesight wasn't good anymore, she didn't realize she was dropping food as she went. So, we had a good laugh about that.
Being with Cheryl always meant a smile, a good laugh, feeling loved, and just a positive energy. We loved her and will miss her greatly!
