Cherry M. Hauge's Obituary
Born on September 24, 1919 in Chehalis, WA. Passed away on May 25, 2003 at Heartwood Care Center in Tacoma at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her son, Lee; and her loving husband, Harold.Cherry is survived by her daughter, Darlene and her husband, Richard Davidson, of Puyallup; grandchildren, Jeff, Jill, Julie, Jon, Jason, Darrin and Dale, all of Tacoma, and Dawn of Minnesota; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Cottet, of Chehalis, WA; brother, Ted Hamrick, of Seaside, OR; and a lifelong friend, Jeanette Adams of Shelton, WA.She and her husband owned and operated HaugeÂ's Grocery on 43rd and M Street in Tacoma for a good many years. Upon retirement, they moved to Chehalis until his death and she then came to Puyallup to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She later moved to Heartwood Care Center in Tacoma until her death at 11:55am on May 25th. Her daughter and son-in-law were at her side the evening before and until God called her home.A special Â"thanksÂ" to all the caregivers at Heartwood Care Center in Tacoma for all their love and care they extended to our Cherry during her stay there. They are very special.Â"We love and miss you HowieÂ"Viewing will be Wednesday, May 28, 2003 from 11am to 9pm, at Mt. View Funeral Home.Graveside services will be 2:30pm, Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Mt. View Memorial Park.
