Charlotte E. Upham's Obituary
Until we meet again….
Charlotte Eiko Upham, 91 passed peacefully on January 7, 2023. She was born March 5, 1931 in Kagoshima-ken, Japan to Nobuaki Yasuda and Haruko Saki.
My grandma was an amazing person. She was vibrant, brave, smart, and resilient. She could save any plant and knew a home remedy for any ailment. She loved cooking and could create a meal from anything in the fridge. She didn’t have a lazy bone in her body and always wanted to impart her wisdom on us so we could continue the family traditions.
We love and miss her and are grateful for all the many years of good times, laughs, and happy memories we will cherish.
Charlotte is survived by her son, George Upham (with wife Martha), her daughter, Debra Flowers-Malone (with husband Carl), her granddaughters, step grandson, grandchildren, great grandson and remaining family members in Japan.
