Charlotte Mae Griffith's Obituary
Charlotte Mae Griffith, age 84, of Everett, Wa, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in her home.
A viewing time will be November 3 from 10am to 4pm. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, November 4th, at 1pm at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood. The graveside service for military honors will be at 2:30 with the reception to follow immediately.
Charlotte was born in Elsie, Michigan on May 16th, 1939, the daughter of the late Roy and Casilda (Pearce) Flanner. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1957. She served in the United States Airforce as a WAF (Women in the Air Force) from 1958 - 1961 where she met her husband. On December 2nd, 1960 she married James Douglas Griffith in Montgomery, Alabama. After his service with the Airforce, they made their home in Eatonville Washington.
Charlotte's family and her faith were the most important things to her. She was a member of Tanawax Country Chapel in Eatonville before moving to Everett. She was a faithful, diligent employee for Titus Ford for 10 years. Many people benefited from Charlotte's kindness and generosity. She was a woman of deep and unwavering faith.
Charlotte is survived by her son John Griffith, daughter Lisa Lamping; Grandchildren Breanna Blair, Colton Griffith, Tyler Yager and Logan Flanner; Her great-grandchildren Roman and Skye Martin, and Maisy Griffith; Siblings Kathleen Hower, Patrick Flanner, and Helen Rittenhouse, and many nieces and nephews who were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Casilda (Pearce) Flanner, her husband James Griffith, her son James Griffith Jr., her sisters: Casilda Flanner, Margery Roy, Nina Sessions, and Alice Hoisington, brothers: Roy Flanner Jr, Lewis Flanner, Richard Flanner, George Flanner, Bob Flanner and Leroy Flanner.
