Charlotte Edna Christian's Obituary
Charlotte Edna Hannah was born November 9, 1918 in Hannah, North Dakota on her grandfatherÂ's farm. She was the second child to parents John and Geneva Hannah. When she was six the family moved to Tacoma, where she has resided since. She attended Sherman Grade School, Mason Junior High and Stadium High School.On August 26, 1950 she married Lyle J. Christian. They lived in the south Tacoma area, and had two children. Charlotte enjoyed gardening and various hand crafts, was involved in PTA, was a Camp Fire Leader and Cub Scout Den Mother, a member of the former South Tacoma Christian Church and the Tacoma WebfooterÂ's Jeep Club. During her life she was employed as an Avon lady, and at SherffyÂ's Variety Store, AA Wedding Supply, and the B&I Cleaners.She is survived by Daughter, Linda (Dan) Taylor of Beaverton, Oregon, and Son Chip (Sue) Christian of Puyallup; also four grandchildren: Brandon (Autumn), Shannon, Ryan, and Lacy Christian (all of Puyallup) and a Great Grandson, Gavin. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle; Sister, Nettie Walsh, and Brother, Jack Hannah.Â"Always in our Hearts,See you in our DreamsÂ...Â"Charlotte will have funeral services on Saturday, May 7th, at Mountain View's Valley Chapel.
