Charlotte D Caffee 's Obituary
Born March 22, 1935 and passed away November 13, 2017. Charlotte was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in October and decided that she had lived a long and prosperous life and was ready to return home to the Lord. Charlotte passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
Charlotte was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Helen Williams and sister Carolyn Parks.
Charlotte graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked as an accounts clerk at Fort Lewis and continued in that field at Tacoma Public Libraries, where she retired.
Charlotte enjoyed traveling with friends and family, but her main passion was gardening. If the sun was out, so was Charlotte. Her garden was her pride and joy. Charlotte was very involved with her church, Mt Tahoma Seventh-Day Adventist. If she wasn’t in the garden, she was usually doing something for the church.
Charlotte leaves behind five children, Brian Caffee, David Caffee, Stephen Caffee, Helen Stieben and Denise Caffee; two siblings, Sidney Williams and Stephanie Degree (Fred); seven grandchildren, Elijah Bailey-Caffee, Briana Caffee, Jonathan Rowe, Jarod Rowe, Maya Stieben, Alisha Stieben and C.C. Bailey-Caffee and numerous family and friends.
