Charles Arnold Williams' Obituary
Charles ‘Chuck’ Williams, born in Tacoma on July 17, 1943, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2018. Chuck graduated from Lincoln High school in Tacoma in 1961. After serving in the armed forces, he went on to work at Washington Natural Gas Company (Puget Sound Energy) for 31 years. He then worked as an inspector for the City of Lakewood before retiring. Chuck enjoyed restoring classic cars, playing cards with friends, fishing, camping, taking his grandkids to the movies, and traveling the world with his family. He an avid Huskies and Seahawks fan, a member of the Bowtie Bunch and Sons of the Highwaymen classic car clubs, and also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles for 39 years.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter, Janelle (Eric), Sons, Bobby (Allison) and Erik (Kristi), and grandkids, Amsalu, Taye, Tadele, Emily, Devin and Alex. He is preceeded in death by his daughter, Michele, brothers, Dick and Jim, and parents, Bob and Dolly Williams.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Sunday, September 30th at 2:00 pm at the Firefighters Station House 726 at 427 N. Meridian in downtown Puyallup.
