Charles Buddy Swint On May 24, Charles "Buddy" Swint was taken home with his wife of 21 years, Carol Jean, after losing to his brave battle with cancer. He will be loved and missed always. On November 2, 1938, Buddy was born in Augusta, Georgia to Robert Lee and Caroline Minneebelle Swint. Buddy will be most remembered for his passion for music. After serving in the Army at a very young age he pursued his love for music with his lifelong friend Shot Gun Red. He is survived by his 4 children, 4 step children, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Carol Jean Swint May 30, Carol Jean Swint went to be with her one true love. Carol was a three-time survivor of cancer, but passed away suddenly of a broken heart while in the care of her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lia Lester. She will be missed and loved always. She is survived by 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Services for both will be held in the Mountain View Garden Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499, TODAY, June 4, 2011 at 1 pm.
