Our beloved brother remains a happy memory in our hearts forever. He lived life and taught life to all who knew him. His generous and empathetic nature earned him deep respect within the family and we will always remember and miss his mischievous chuckle and sense of humour. To Hony and family, our heartfelt love and condolences. Charlie was truly a special human being and we will all miss his presence but know we'll meet again. Thinking of you all with love, The Wilkinson Family (Queensland, Australia).##imported-begin##Pat Griffiths##imported-end##
When I was 11 years old, I wanted a bike. My brother Charlie was working on a bike in the garage. Every time I went to watch, he would tell me to go away. When Charlie was done with the bike, he surprised me as the bike he was working on was for me. This was the first bike I ever owned, I loved my bike and still as grateful today for my brother as I was at 11 years old. My brother Charlie was always there for me, even to scold me when needed. (That’s what big brothers are for). I will always love and miss my big brother Charlie.##imported-begin##Angel Shrope##imported-end##
I have had a special bond with Charlie since I was a child in HongKong and he was a young man. We wrote to us for many years after he moved to US and I to Australia. But eventually, we lost touch. About 8 years ago, a call came out of the blue from him and since then, we have been closer than ever, thanks to the ease of constant contact afforded by email. I was very happy to visit Charlie and Hony in Seattle in 2007 and then, just 2 months ago, we here in WA, were so lucky to have Charlie visit us even though it was only for a few days. How wonderful for us that he came when he did.
Charlie was very special. He had the biggest heart and the most generous spirit of anyone I ever met, a prodigious love of life and profound love for everyone in his family. He had the knack of making each person feel special. Who can say why someone's life ends when it dones but certainly Charlie lived his 71 years to the full and has now gone to his well-earned rest.
Fly rest and be at peace, beloved cousin.
Love and healing thoughts go out to all family and friends who love him, especially Hony and his children.##imported-begin##dr charmaine saunders##imported-end##
We the Cutrell family would like to give our sympathy to Uncle Charlie’s family. Uncle Charlie was a man of honor and family. If ever you needed any help with anything, all you had to do was ask, Uncle Charlie was always willing to give advice filled with wisdom. We mourn his passing and will miss him very much. While this is a time to mourn, this is also a time to celebrate the times we shared with him and now the time for him to go be with our Lord Jesus Christ. So although we will mourn his passing, let us also celebrate his love for family, friends and life. God Bless you and your family at this time. We will miss you dearly Uncle Charlie.

I miss my brother Charlie more than words can express. We have always been there for each other. Charlie has always been the life of the family parties and always the first one to speak up and straighten out family problems-I wish I took lessons from him. We will all miss him dearly, and I feel very fortunate that he was my brother and will always cherish my memories of him.##imported-begin##Roberta McMillan-Jones##imported-end##
My family and I offer our sincere sympathies to Charles family.
When I was in SF in 1975 for a National Womens Church convention I was asked to be Kris's god mother at her baptism. The ride to the church was quite exhilarating as we were running late and Charles was driving 80 mph down the freeway in a motorhome full of people. That kind of reflects my memory of him as the way he went through life.##imported-begin##Janice Forseth##imported-end##
