Ever since I have been in EMS, they told me not to get involved, disassociate, don't patronize. Well if this was an exam, I failed miserably. We see a lot of things. Some good some bad some evil some crazy. We witness every emotion ever known but they still say "don't get involved, disassociate don't patronize". Well Sorry, that is not me. On this friday I lost one of those friends that I was involved with, I did associate and did patronize in the good sense. He was a giant of a man who we seen on a regular basis. A kind gentle giant that was more concerned with us hurting ourselves moving his massive frame. A polite man who always and I do mean always said, ''Thank You". So Here is to you my friend. I know that The Big Guy Upstairs said to you, "Welcome Home, have a seat and stay a while. Lets talk about fishing." Kind of nice up there, right Fish? Yea I thought so..... So with that being said, I will continue to get involved, associate and patronize in a good sense and I will add one more thing: I will continue to be patient focused in which the caregiver will be inspired and the customer will center on being patient focused, caregiver inspired and let other customers be centered. Kind of a cool circle, huh? See you later Fish. And to the family, my heart goes out to you and yours. God will keep you strong through this hard time.##imported-begin##Alvin R.
