Born in Tacoma and graduated Stadium High School. Left working at the ASARCO smelter for 2 years to serve in the Army (Korea). Charles went on to work at the ASARCO smelter 35 years and retired 1985. Survived by his wife Frances of 59 years, daughters Darlene, Frances (Tom) Hall, and Barbara Lourdes, grandchildren Justin and Cassandra Hall, his sister Helen (Albert) Scasta, along with many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Life Center, 17th & Union, Tacoma, Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, reception following at Frances and Tom's residence in Milton. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
