He wasn't my biological father, but he taught me how to catch and clean my first fish. He took me on my first John boat and under the Narrows bridge. He showed me my first squid and taught me not to be scared of snakes (while chasing CJ Morrell around the back yard with one.) I'll never forget standing on the fire place and singing, "Butterfly kisses" to him with my sister, Brittany, on Father's Day. I choose to remember that man, the man I knew when I was little.
