Charles E. Taylor III
Charles "Chuck" E. Taylor was born on June 30, 1940 in Tacoma, Washington. He passed away at home surrounded by his family on July 4, 2009. He grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Stadium High School. Chuck was a reservist in the U.S. Coast Guard after which he attended the University of Washington where he majored in economics and mathematics. He was a C.P.A. in Tacoma for over forty years. Chuck was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of South Tacoma and on the board of the Tacoma-Pierce County Boys and Girls Club.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Lisa, sons Charlie (Tammy), Christopher, daughters Tracy (Gary) and Nancy (Leiv), grandchildren, Jennie, Charles, Amy, Olivia, Lauren, Finn, Evan and Beck. He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Joanne Robinson, Elizabeth Hausfeld (Gordon), Sandy Mueller-Adams (Darrell) and brother Chris Taylor (Joyce).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pierce County Boys and Girls Club or the American Cancer Society . A celebration of his life will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Tacoma on Thursday, July 9th at 11:00am.
