Charles Edward Meadows' Obituary
CHARLES E. "CHUCK" MEADOWS
Chuck passed away November 11, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He was 78 years old. He was born and raised in Tacoma, graduating from Lincoln High School, and then served in the Naval Reserves. Chuck was a Food Broker, retiring from Fenwick & Pickett Inc. All who knew Chuck knew that he and his wife Barbara were avid "Husky" fans, attending many games. He also loved golf and classic cars, especially his 40 Ford. He and Barbara were members of the Classic V8 Regional Car Club. Chuck was a member of the Masons, Afifi Shrine and the Elks Club. These last few years he especially looked forward to the lunches with his longtime buddies in all areas of the grocery business. "Thanks Guys."
Chuck is survived by his wife Barbara of 50 years, daughter Delinda (Terry) Peterson, granddaughters Ashley Lewis and Hannah Moline, great-granddaughter Heavianna, and dear family friend Shirley Peluso and family.
Services will be celebrated at Mountain View Funeral Home's Celebration of Life Center Aspen Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA on Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
