Charles E. Newton's Obituary
Chuck passed away at the VA Hospital in Seattle on February 26, 2004. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on May 13, 1929 to Paul and Mable Newton. He joined the Air Force in 1948 and was medically retired in 1975 as Chief Master Sergeant. After leaving the Air Force, he learned to be a locksmith and started a mobile lock service which he ran until 1994. Chuck had a lot of friends, and always had a joke to tell. He loved working on his computer, and taking long drives in his car. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; daughter, Susan Sandner (Michael); grandsons, David, Brian, and Matthew (Crista); great granddaughters, Hailey, and April; brother, William; and nieces, Pam Helm, Joyce Johnson, Sally Thompson, and Cheryl Higgenbothem.Funeral Services will be held at 12pm, Tuesday, March 9, 2004, in the Mt. View Garden Chapel, with a Committal Service following at 2pm, at Tahoma National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Association or Best Friends Animal Society.
