Our boys Dameian, Demetrius and Dominique grew up and went to school here in Washington, where we have met many, many lovely friends whom we consider our extended family.
Charles worked Civil Service at Ft. Lewis, WA, after his military retirement and retired from this job on July 31, 2014.
In August of 1996, him and his wife joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Joseph A. Boles. He served here as a member of the Finance Committee until his demise. He was an usher on the Senior Board, until Dominique came along, because he felt nobody could care for the boy like himself.
Charles loved his wife, whom he called girlfriend and if he was a little upset with her, he referred to her as Ms. Beverly. He was her friend, a good father, and a provider. All our needs were always met and a whole lot of our wants were included.
