Charles “Chuck” Arthur Christian, age 65, passed away after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Tacoma, WA, Chuck spent most of his adult life in Bonney Lake, WA, where he built his life centered on family, friends, and the great outdoors.
Chuck was a devoted partner, loving father, loving son, proud grandfather, great grandfather, and best brother.
He found great joy in family get-togethers and time spent in nature. He especially enjoyed trips to Ocean Shores, Mount Rainier, and Mexico. Nature brought him peace and he loved sharing those moments with people close to him.
Chuck also gave his time generously, particularly through volunteering at the Puyallup Tribe of Indians sweat lodge, an experience that held deep meaning for him.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, David L. Christian and his son Michael Christian. He is survived by his mother, Doreen Hovermale, his partner Sandy, sisters Cathy, Candy, Carrie, and Cheryl. He is also survived by his step daughter Athena and much loved grandson, Zayd. Lastly, he is survived by his step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.
