Charles Baughman's Obituary
Charles Â"LeeÂ" Baughman of Yelm passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 4, 2005 surrounded by the loving warmth of his family. He was born June 7, 1929 in Olney Springs, Colorado to Roy and Hazel Baughman. Lee moved to Washington in 1935.Upon graduating from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, he served in the Army. He retired after 35 years from General Hardwood as a truck driver.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend of 44 years, Arlene. Lee leaves behind daughters Linda Buell (Ralph), Cindy Bowen (Sam) and Kristi Boe (Doug); grandchildren Christopher, Joshua, Lacey and Holly; brothers Bill and Bob Baughman.Lee was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, gardening and golf. He also loved spending time with his family, whom he was proud of. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him for his kind and gentle ways.A graveside service will take place at 1 pm, Thursday, March 10 at Yelm Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 2 pm at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 206 3rd Street SE in Yelm.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Providence Home Care and Hospice, Olympia.WeÂ're going to miss you Â"BuckkoÂ".
