Charles "Jack" Andersen's Obituary
Charles “Jack” Andersen, 95, passed away on June 15, 2021. Jack was born on February 5, 1926, in Tacoma, WA to Roy & Viola Andersen. He was the first of three children, all boys. He was a Lincoln High School Graduate, Tacoma Resident and Business Owner. He owned and operated New Era Cleaners for 40 years; a longtime member of Tacoma Executives. Jack was an avid Porsche enthusiast and member of the Porsche Club. He enjoyed driving his cars FAST on a sunny day. Preceded in death by Marion Andersen, his brother Gordon, and daughter Joy Warren. Survived by brother Richard, daughter Susan Olmstead and son Jeffrey (Sandra), five Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren and his longtime companion and best friend Irene Brown. Jack was a very dedicated, proud business owner and was successful with the help of longtime employee and friend Shirley Fay and his son Jeffrey Andersen. The family would like to thank those that supported and helped Jack throughout the years.
