Uncle Charles was my father's brother. I have find memories of visiting him and the family as a young girl and once as an adult with my children in Tacoma. Uncle Charles always welcomed us into his home as part of the family. I was proud to share with others that he was a superintendent of a school district in Tacoma. Both he and my father received higher education from Texas College in Tyer. I was named after his wife Dena, which was very meaningful to me. I have always loved Uncle Charles from afar. I would love to hear from Gayle,please reach out to me at 713-499-0969. My heart was very saddened when I received the news of uncle Charles' passing. Family please stay blessed and strong!

Mr. Alexander was the Dean for the class of 1974. He influenced a lot of us. He was fair, respectful and had a great sense of humor. Lots of love. RIP Mr. Alexander.

Mr. Alexander was a Dean/Counselor during my senior year at Lakes in 1971-72. Never had any encounters with him at that time. It was later on when he was Superintendent for Clover Park School District that I finally had an encounter with him. He essentially saved my job with the district at that time with his compassion. RIP sir.

Charles knew my Grandfather back in the day but I knew him as a man who worked so hard on his beautiful yard. I will miss seeing him work so hard.

Mr. Alexander was such an amazing man! I was a senior at Lakes High in 1974 and I went and visited with him often in his office to talk about my future goals and just life! I was so happy to see him at our 10 year reunion! He was a kind and caring man! My prayers go out to his family and friends.

I had the pleasure of knowing this awesome man. Lakes class of 1974. I had a choice in my junior year, Mr. Alexander put me straight. Sit in study hall for a semester or be in Mr. Gruber’s theater class. I chose correctly, still involved acting to this day. Thank you Mr. Alexander

He was and still is a great man . I went to lakes graduate of 1974 . Was hoping to see him at my class reunion this summer . God bless him and thankful to have gotten to be under his supervision at Lakes . 😞
