Cecelia M. Smith's Obituary
Cecelia Marie Smith passed on Saturday, July 14, 2018 and went to a much better place.
Cecelia was born May 8, 1920 in Trent, Washington and later moved to Millwood, WA, graduating from West Valley High School in 1938. She moved to Tacoma in 1950 and worked as an office manager for a pharmacy and then a restaurant and hotel until it closed. She spent her last few working years at the North End Tacoma Senior Center as bookkeeper and event coordinator. She was an excellent keyboard player and enjoyed playing both piano and organ until arthritis made it too difficult to play. The last few years of her life she lived at Genesis Orchard Park nursing facility where she was treated with dignity and respect. She is survived by her son Richard Peters, daughter-in-law Linda Peters, and grandson Marty Peters.
A Graveside Ceremony for Cecelia will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Lakewood.
