My friend of 31 years - rest. Cathy had more energy than anyone I know, like the enegizer bunny she ran full speed. My neighbor and special friend on East B Street for many years. The time of sadness and happiness as we struggled to raise our kids the best we could. She was there at the loss of my husband, cleaning, cooking and being a friend. We muddled through Boy Scouts, school conferences and shared babysitters. Laughing as we sat in the childs wading pool cooling off in the summer, struggling with home repairs and wallpaper. Alway talking, laughing and trying to make sense of the world. Enjoy your peace until we meet again. Love to you Jim for your patience and kindness to her, love to you Michelle, Mike and Darren for many, many memories. Diane##imported-begin##Diane Pellegrini Davidson##imported-end##

Cathy was a longtime friend of mine. We went through grade school, junior high and Lincoln High where Cathy was our Pep Club President during her senior year. She never missed a game and as a cheerleader, I really appreciated the enthusiasm and spirit she brought to the games. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always made us laugh. We also had fun times painting the rock on 56th Street. I was so happy to visit with Cathy during our last class reunion. She will be missed at our 45th. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.##imported-begin##Darlene Clifford Ford##imported-end##

My very dear dear friend Cathy Hutch Espe.. What fun we have had for 30 years since we first met working for Lucky stores. I will never forget your laughter when we would travel to Reno to celebrate our birthdays together. Didn't we have fun? I remember the time we were at the old Comstock casino and I spied a green bill on the floor. I motioned to you to come back me up as I knelt over to tie my shoe putting my other foot on the bill. It was a $100. bill. We played on the dollars back in those days.. As we got older and poorer we played the nickels and pennies. I will miss you so much and also the fun we had playing domimoes when I would spend the night on 46th street. All the things you did for others like making cup cakes having friends over for a barbecue. Your grandson Shawn sure did love the cupcakes. He loved you soooooooooooooooo much and I am sure he is missing you now. The times we spent at the cabin on the Cispus River and the pastie's we made so we could lay in the sun. LOL. I could go on and on but I know that you know how much I loved and appreciated you through out the years. Didn't we have fun going over to the Mt. View Lodge and casino in Manson? (Lake Chelan). I remember one night we played all night and didn't even get back to the motel. You were pretty lucky back in those days. Guess what! They built a new Indian casino there now and We are going over there to celebrate your life and memories we have of you on July 6th. I remember when you also used to go there with your Mom and Dad. After they stopped traveling then you and I kept up on the tradition.
So many friends you had but don't think they were quite as close as you and I through out the years. I will miss you and remember you well every time I see a box of Fruit Loops wrapped in newspaper cause you didn't have Xmas wrap: You always had them for my girls since I wouldn't buy them sweet sugar cereal! My girls loved you and will miss you also. Richard and I shall always hold you and our memories close to our hearts.
Love to you Missy and I will always be here for you. Thank you Jim for taking care of my dear friend. Condolence to Mike and Rachael and family. Also to Teri's and Mother Erma.
May she rest in peace. We love you very much.
