Casy J. Leavitt's Obituary
My beautiful daughter was born July 8th 1986, in Logan, Utah and passed on January 3rd,
2025, in Tacoma, Washington. She had an infectious smile and a heart of gold.
Casy was a graduate of Mount Tahoma High School Class of 2004. During her high school
years, she was a cheerleader and a member of the step team. After high school she
became the Cheer coach for the Tacoma Panthers Junior football team; she loved teaching
the girls cheerleading and loved to dance. She loved to go camping with her dad and
brother in Utah and at Staircase. She and I would go to the Highland Games every year in
Enumclaw; the bagpipes were our favorite.
She was a Health Unit Coordinator at Tacoma General Hospital and went on to further her
education at Clover Park Technical College and received her degree as a CNA and was
employed by St. Joseph Hospital. Casy loved her work and loved helping others. She was
just getting ready to apply to Nursing school at the time of her passing.
She was fortunate enough to go to Italy where she was quickly loved by all she came into
contact with. Her goal was to travel to Scotland to place her sister’s necklace with her
ashes in it at the small piece of property she received 1-year for Christmas which made her
actual name Lady Casy J Leavitt. She was so excited to receive that gift from her Aunt Linda.
Casy is survived by her Mother Patty, brothers Jason (Sheana), Mikey, Jeffery (Katie) and
Justin (Teira); Her beautiful nieces who were her whole heart Harleigh and Zoey;
Maternal Grandmother Joanne (G-Ma); Aunts- Linda, Regina, Wendy and Shannon;

Her best friends throughout school and still today- Amanda, Sarah, Ebony and Sade.
She was preceded in death by her Father-David, Sister Lani, Uncle Greg, Aunti D and
Cousins-Justin and Kody, her paternal grandparents Wendell and Glenna and her Maternal
grandfather Edward.
My beautiful angel-oh how I am going to miss you. You were the light in my heart.
I will see you and your sister again someday and oh what fun we will have.
