Carol Ann Smith's Obituary
Carol Ann Smith born May 8, 1948, in Tacoma, Washington, passed away May 12, 2021, at her home in Tacoma of natural causes.
Carol spent the majority of her life raising her children, and helping raise her grandchild. She dedicated her free time to students at Collins Elementary in the late 1990's by volunteering as a classroom aide for many years. She loved traveling to Reno, family gatherings, and listening to her favorite 50-60’s rock (especially Elvis!).
She was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Ruvo. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Frank Smith, son Loren Smith, daughter Christina Woodcock (James), granddaughter Jessica Duren, brother Larry Ruvo (Debbie), and sister Lanette Colombini.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Mountain View Funeral Home from 10:00am-4:00pm. Funeral service will be graveside on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 11:30am officiated by Pastor Margaret O'Neal. A gathering to celebrate Carol’s life will follow at the family’s home.
