Carol Ann Gacek "Bling" Selland
Carol Ann Gacek -Å"Bling- Selland was born in Tacoma , WA July 2, 1960, and passed away June 19, 2011. Her two sons are James and Nicholas Kilgore of Tri Cities , WA, and daughter Michelle Kilgore, Tacoma, WA, parents Barbara (Rev. Ken) Anderson, Bernie and Karen Gacek, siblings Steve, David and twin sister Cheryl Gacek, grandbabies, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Carol loved and happily bragged about her kids and spent her entire life being supportive of them. Family and friends were very important to her, and she would never treat a stranger as a stranger. Carol was definitely very giving and caring. Her greatest rewards in life were her grandbabies. She would go to the moon and back for them. Carol loved to laugh. Everyone enjoyed her sense of humor and sincere honesty. Carol "BLING" will be truly be missed. This world won't be the same without her and Heaven won't be the same with her. We love you so much "mom, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, "Yamma" and friend." "Don't worry, be happy." Family and friends would like to thank Chaplain Rick Balman of The Pierce County Sheriff's Department and The Victims of Violent Crime for their support during this tragic time. Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 3pm. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
