Carol B. Sallander's Obituary
Carol B, Sallander passed away on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at the age of 93. She was active in her church choir as a pianist, organist, and vocalist. Christmas was her favorite time of the year with abounding decorations, and festivity with her family. Her commitments in life were her husband Tom, her children, and her grandchildren. After raising her own children, she and Tom provided daily day care for eight grandchildren for their formative years. Traveling in their camping trailer was their favorite get away, with their parents, their children, and their most beloved companions Frank and Doris Sigafoos. Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas in 2016, and her youngest child Michael in 1997. She is survived by her sister Mary Reed, son Mark and wife Lynn, daughter Mary Sigafoos and husband Roger, daughter in law Candy Meyer, eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Carol Sallander was a sweet and compassionate individual who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
