Carol Ann Ricker's Obituary
Carol Ann Ricker, 73, of Lakewood, WA, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. Born October 15, 1951, in San Francisco, CA, to Albert and Virginia Ruppel, she married George Ricker Jr. on July 9, 1971. As a patriotic Army wife and mother, Carol embraced life’s many experiences, whether traveling, attending concerts and movies, shopping, or enjoying time spent observing those around her. She had a fondness for the color blue, desserts, Hallmark movies and Elvis Presley.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Ricker Jr., along with their children and grandchildren: Steven, Jessica, Samuel, and Sarai Ricker of Lacey, WA; Kenneth, Brenda, Matthew, and Bethany Ricker of Puyallup, WA; and Paul, Jennifer, Jazmyn, and Cameron Ricker of Lakewood, WA; as well as sisters Donna and Janet. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Virginia Ruppel; her stepfather Robert Carey; her mother-in-law, Nettie Ricker; and her father-in-law, George Ricker, Sr. Her warm smile and presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
