In the short time I knew Carol, it was evident that she was a special person. I miss the fun times we all shared when my family lived in Olympia and will always cherish the memories. Please know that you are all in our loving thoughts and prayers. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Lisa Blake (Dar's little sister)##imported-begin##Lisa Blake##imported-end##
When I first met Carol I was struck by her wonderful sense of style. As I got to know her I loved her wicked wit and humor. She will always be in my memory as an indomitable spirit.##imported-begin##Donna Wirick##imported-end##
We miss Carol so much. She was a friend and part of our lives for almost thirty years. Reminders of her are everywhere we turn, and she was just about the strongest person we knew.##imported-begin##Mike and Gail Haines##imported-end##

Please accept my sincere condolences in Carol's untimely death. I know this brings up difficult memories for you, Dad, and I can see that toll that it has taken on Corky; it has not been an easy couple of weeks for any of you. God bless you Chelle for being the bossy/takeover gal--there always needs to be one of those in the family. To Cherie and Carrie and all of the beautiful babies, be well and may the memories of mom and grandma comfort you. To Jerrell, this will be a difficult transition for you. Stay close to your family, seek assistance and may the service help you with closure, knowing that Carol is no longer in pain, hoping that she truly is smiling at you and encouraging you in everything that you do. And loving you, Jerrell, for all of the tender care that you have given her. Now you must take care of yourself and the transition will be difficult to make. Allow others to help you in this. This is what Carol would most want for you.
With loving sympathy for you all,
Renee##imported-begin##Renee Ries##imported-end##
