It's been almost 2 weeks since Carol has left us to be with the Lord and I miss her terribly.
I can't imagine our family get togethers without her. She added such energy, warmth, love and humor of which we all just loved her for.
And who is going to say the blessing at our next family function? She was always the one who did the blessing. She sure could give a long blessing as she wanted to make sure that she covered all the bases!
The only thing that gets me through this is knowing that she is in heaven and she is pain free and happy.
She had so many people that loved her as you could tell by all that paid their respects to her at the memorial service. She meant alot to many, especially her family. We were fortunate to have had her in our lives.
Shannon, Hannah and Malia, I am so sorry for your loss. We love you and are here for you.

With deepest sympathy and love, we pray for Carol's family in their time of loss at her passing to be with her father in heaven. Prayers for your strength as you continue your life's journey in her memory. Especially to Shannon as you have just begun your motherhood with Malia and we have yet to meet but now are family. Dear Cousin,

Dearest Shannon and Hannah & Family, I have so many wonderful memories of Peaches. I don't know where to begin. All of what others have said are soooo true of her. She is wonderfully humerous, never at a loss for words, loving, kind and always cared the utmost about her family. I have missed being with her and will miss her even more until I see her again. I will see you at the service if I am able to get near. Heidi and the kids will come to honor her as well. She wanted to do this since she was so honoring of Kris when he passed. Dear Shannon and Hannah, you don't remember me. I knew your Mom many years ago through Mary Kay and Phyllis Hedge. She was always such a bright light and lit up a room when she entered it. She had the amazing ability to make an entire room of women cry with laughter. She will truly be missed by us all.

I first met Peaches over 20 yrs. ago when we both worked for the Health Dept. I never heard her complain and she always maintained her sunny personality even when going through great difficulties. In the last few years I reconnected with Peaches again through church. I was able to visit her several times these past few weeks. It was very apparent that she was at complete peace. It was not easy for her, though, to leave her two precious daughters and beautiful new granddaughter, but she knew that God would take care of them and that soon she would be in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
My prayers are with all of Peaches family. She was a very special lady.
