It's been almost 2 weeks since Carol has left us to be with the Lord and I miss her terribly.
I can't imagine our family get togethers without her. She added such energy, warmth, love and humor of which we all just loved her for.
And who is going to say the blessing at our next family function? She was always the one who did the blessing. She sure could give a long blessing as she wanted to make sure that she covered all the bases!
The only thing that gets me through this is knowing that she is in heaven and she is pain free and happy.
She had so many people that loved her as you could tell by all that paid their respects to her at the memorial service. She meant alot to many, especially her family. We were fortunate to have had her in our lives.
Shannon, Hannah and Malia, I am so sorry for your loss. We love you and are here for you.

Dear Cousin,
You will be greatly missed. Your Auntie Mary, cousin Ken, Steve and Monica feel a deep loss. However, the great memories of playing together at Tutu's house as part of the family gatherings can never be forgotten. With the deepest sense of lost we say goodbye knowing you are at peace.

WHAT A GREAT LADY! I have only known Peaches a short time and am fortunate for that. The first time I met her was when Peaches, Shannon and Hanna came to our home for Easter dinner. She was so warm and friendly I felt like I knew her all my life. She was so bubbly despite her illness even shortly before her death. She truly was a courageous person and admirable. She has two beautiful girls (actually three) who I am more than happy are a part of our lives. We will surley miss her.##imported-begin##Linda Gramento##imported-end##

Shannon and Hannah:
Once and awhile a person comes along that touches your heart and makes a lasting impression. Peaches enrolled Hannah at Old Town Cooperative Preschool from 1991-1993 and I was "Teacher Marilyn." Peaches was in charge of keeping our art supplies stocked and helping with special art projects. Every month, we all looked forward to smelling the "play dough." She had such a creative and crafty touch to everything she did personally and for our school. It was very obvious that as a single mom she worked hard to make her daughters happy. I had a chance visit Hawaii several times and found it was easy to get into the "spirit of aloha" while on vacation. Your mother "lived aloha" day in and day out. My husband and I will be making a donation in your mother's name to help support breast cancer research.
Our thoughts, prayers, and the spirit of "ohana" is with you.
