Carmen Hartman's Obituary
Carmen Hartman is now in the presence of the Lord she loved and served faithfully. She died on Good Friday, just two weeks after her 77th birthday. Carmen spent her life loving and teaching children. She was a teacher at Lakeview Elementary School in Lakewood for 27 years. She also taught ChildrenÂ's Church and Sunday School for many years, and AWANA right up to the end. She served thousands of meals and there was always room for one more at her table. She leaves a hole in the hearts of her husband Ken, her five children, five stepchildren, 21 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Â"Her children arise and call her blessed: her husband also, and he praises her: Â Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.Â'Â" Funeral services will be at 1:00PM, Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at the First Baptist Church of Lakewood, 5400 112th Street SW in Lakewood.
