Carmen Denise (Holliday) Carter AKA C.D. Day
Sunrise November 17, 1952 - Sunset October 20, 2018
age 65, a longtime Everett, Washington resident passed away in Everett. Born in Munich, Germany to John Lawrence Holliday Sr. and Evelyn Virginia (Bailey) Holliday, Carmen was the third child of six born to this family.
She was preceded in death by her her mother Evelyn and father John Sr. and sister Tonya and brothers Andrea and John Jr. The family came to Washington State from California in 1962 and she attended Baker Jr. high and Mt. Tahoma High School where she graduated in the class of 1970. Upon graduation, she started her career with Sears in the parts department and was a valued employee throughout Washington with the training and development with other employees.
She moved to Yakima for more than 5 years and then transferred to Everett where she finished her career retiring with over 30 years of service. Her hobbies were softball, volleyball and most of all bowling.
Carmen also had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing and was also a life member of Mary Church Terrell Social and Civic Club.
Surviving family include her sisters Millicent Lyons of St. Louis, Sondra Holliday of University Place and a host of nieces, nephews, many friends and especially her partner John Carroll Anthony III of 30 years.
