Carlos turned our dining experience at Le Pichet Seattle into one of my greatest "meaning of life" moments. Susi was with him and his entrance into the restaurant was clearly to let all in attendance know that French restaurants should never be stuffy! God Bless you Big Man, you will be missed. One of the many things I loved about Carlos was that he always made me feel like the most special person in the room. He was always so welcoming and enthusiastic each time we ever met up, when I was visiting his dear sister Susi. He never failed to ask me how my two dogs were and I would always tell him that they were thinking of him and missed him. That always got a little smile out of him. The world lost a big ray of Sunshine when Carlos left us but I know he was welcomed with loving arms by his mother and sister and that makes me smile.
We watched over Carlos like he was one of our family.
Rest in peace, Carlos.

My favorite memory of Carlos is when he got done explaining to me how someone had helped him with something, and just in the nick of time. I said, "Thank God!" and Carlos replied, "Oh that's okay, I already did that this morning".

Carlos was born in 1973 while I was in high school with my bestest of all friends, his sister Susi. Wow, it was so fun to have a friend with a little baby brother! I remember him running and running around his Oma...happy happy happy with a huge smile on his face. His mother Renate was amazing and Carlos lived a very happy life.
As time moved on and everyone grew older and miles grew between us, I did not see Carlo til after he moved in with Susi. Fortunately, I got to see him many times with Susi in Seattle and a wonderful visit with them at Disneyland in California. We met twice in Las Vegas where he and my son Joe became "buddies".
I was blessed to see Carlos in October of 2014 when I visited Seattle and Susi. He was very lucky in life, he had the most loving, supportive family and friends. I KNOW he is happy with Renate, Shannon and Susi in the great hands of our Lord.
I will always have only the fondest, happiest memories. Until we meet again my friend.
