A friend that made a difference in other’s lives - Charlie.. a dear friend for nearly 3 decades. He never failed to say God bless you. Charlie loved Jesus..
As a husband and a father, Charlie was loyal and a provider. Despite trials and tribulations, he loved his family.. He was giving and he gave it all he had. He was simple, humble, and caring with his relationship to others. In his own words, he was determined to bring his family to the United States to “give them the opportunity to have a better life”. Whenever we got together.. he never failed to mention how missed the good times. He named his children one by one and expressed his desires to spend time with them and that he prayed for them. He loved eating out.. and he never neglected to send best wishes during Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Days.
Our families went to church together. Studied God’s Words together. Prayed, laughed, and cried together. We camped together, sightseeing together, ate together, talked and talked and planned together. We learned and knew that despite it all, we are just but passing on this earth. Before his accident, my husband and I continued to visit with Charlie. He came to California and we visited him in Seattle. We would go and eat at the Mizuki Buffet Restaurant in Tukwila. Oh how he loved to eat!
On May 22nd 2020, we traveled to Seattle hoping to see Charlie and to my disappointment, he never answered his phone😥. I had promised to visit months before - little did I know that while we were there unable to reach him, he was to expire.
Our citizenship is in heaven. Charlie’s earthly journey terminated on Memorial Day and his remains at Memorial Park. He went home to be with the Lord.. and if I would have been given the opportunity, I would sing the song... It is well with my soul.. as I know Charlie is waiting for his family and friends in heaven.
To my dearest friend Candy and the children (I consider you my nieces and nephews) Caylo, Dennis, Milkah, Nikki, Jordan, Cream and Sugar: May our good Lord comfort you and hug you with His presence. I miss and love you guys. :bouquet:Emily-Joy Flynn with Sid Flynn(husband).
