Carlin Louise (Folkner Stultz Fousel) LaneBorn August 23, 1934 in Artesia, New Mexico, taken from us March 1, 2003. She was a deeply loved mother and sister, grandmother and aunt, great-grandmother and friend. A Puyallup resident since 1963, Louise worked over a decade as a switchboard operator and later a trust-department bookkeeper at the old Puget Sound National Bank. She also spent many happy years working in several capacities at the Lakes Moose Lodge in Lakewood, where she made many beloved friends who will miss her greatly. She strongly supported the charities sponsored by the Moose organization, as well as other charitable works. She was a Â"volunteer GrandmaÂ" in Kindergarten at Fruitland Elementary School in Puyallup, which her grandchildren attended.Louise was the pillar of her large family, where she is survived by her sons Carl (June), David (Jeannette), Forest (Wendy), and Dutch (Julie); daughter Inell (Don); her brother Jack (Betty); her grandchildren Aaron (Deleva), Heather (Chad), Keegan, Madison, Terrill, Courtney (Anthony), Jay, Kevin, and Kim (Don); her three great-grandchildren Olivette, Mackenzie, and Shelby; and her ex-husband Walter (Betty). She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Clayton, and by her parents, Carl and Lilla Folkner. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, two aunts, and numerous in-laws and cousins and their families. We will all be the poorer for her loss.A memorial service will be held at 4PM Friday March 7 in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Memorial Park on Steilacoom Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Moose Charities Emergency Fund (WOTM International Headquarters, Mooseheart, IL 60539-1182), or to your local domestic-violence prevention organization.
