Carl Whinnery's Obituary
Age 86 years, born in Nebraska, died March 5, 2010 in Tacoma Washington. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sherry and parents Clarence and Hazel. Carl was a WWII veteran with the 20th Armored Division attached to the Army Band, and served in the ETO. He was a member of the Masonic Order and the Lakewood Elks. Carl was a Lakewood businessman and founder of Lakewood Cabinet Shop and Lakewood Countertops. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 63 years, Betty, children: Cathy (Rick) Tunnell, Rich (Barb), Roger (Jenny), 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on March 15th at 1:00 PM in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
