Carl E. CasonBorn on 11/11/51, Carl E. Cason III passed away on June 12, 2003. Carl was born in the Bronx, NY and was raised in Tacoma. He was a former teacher at Lister, Boze, and Mary Lyon Elementary Schools, McIllvaigh Middle School, Mt. Tahoma High School and most recently had been principal at McCarver Elementary School. He was involved in many extracurricular activities including sports, fundraisers, and food drives. Carl attended Olivet College on a football scholarship before graduating from Central Washington University with a BachelorÂ's Degree in Education. He later received his MasterÂ's degree in Education and PrincipalÂ's credentials. He is survived by (ex) wife Christine, and 3 children, Alicia, Travis, and Vanessa. Also mourning his loss are his father Carl Jr., and mother Margaret, his 3 brothers, and 4 sisters: Richard (Lori), Dwayne, Kevin (Jane), Carolyn, Margarette, Christine, and Barbara. Carl leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss him. WE ALL LOVE YOU CARL!A gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 11:00am in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Building.
