I met Camille in SD class. I was having a very hard time and crying through class, and Camille shared a little treasure with me. It was a little silicone ball with knobs all over it. She gently leaned down and told me that it would be okay. She put it in my hand , closed it, and told me to hold it and rub my fingers over it and it will make me feel better. She gave me a huge hug, and slowly went back to her seat. (At that time she was using a walker and it was quite an effort for her!) That is how amazing she was. She just, on a whim, saw a hurting soul and shared her treasure without a second thought. I enjoyed seeing the world through her eyes, and being reminded how simple love and kindness is what the world needs, as well as what we tend to forget to observe and acknowledge. I am so blessed to have known such a kind, honest, and loving soul. ❤️
