Camila Martinez's Obituary
Camila P Martinez was born to Pedro & Maria Trevino on July 18th 1947 in Mercedes, Texas. She was the 6th of 12 children. Camila graduated in Corcorn High School on June of 1965.
In 1967 She met the Love of Her life Arthur Martinez and were married on January 12th 1968.
Arthur was in the Military and together they traveled landing in North Carolina. In 1969 They Had their 1st daughter Shannon. From there they went to Germany then to Washington where they both fell in love with the view. IN 1974 they had their Last daughter Kristine. They were very Happy in Washington and made the decision to stay.
Art was still in the Military and while he was stationed in Korea Camila continued her education to become a Grocery Checker. She got a job working for Piggly Wiggly where She met many people and made life long friends.
She befriended the DePaul Family who became our Adoptive Grandparents and One of her bests friend Norma White.
Camila Loved everything about Washington. She called Mt Rainier "Her Mountain" She also loved her Seahawks and Mariners no matter How they did.
Mom was very much a people person. She loved talking with all her customers and anyon she came across.
In 1993 She lost her beloved Husband Art to Cancer. She remained Strong for Her daughters and Grandkids Danny, Joey, Ryan, Tyler, Geno IV and Alexis.
She loved to travel with her Best Friends Nancy and Norma and Traveled with Her Brother Joe and Carmen Trevino.
In 2016 Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers. She remained strong and Happy until her passing on April 20th 2022.
