Cam, I met you 46 years ago this month. Remembering,... trick or treating with the Posse of girls from De Long, Girl Scouts, your Birthday Slumber Parties, where we would go out and raid your grandparents garden in the middle of the night, eating carrots that we just wiped the dirt off on our pjs and then went back to bed,.... not necessarily sleep.... giggle. Your parents taking us to the Boathouse Grill @ Point Defiance for breakfast the next morning. Going to your Grandma's kitchen and watching her cook and sampling... yum, running through your Grandfather's shop and the smell of fresh cut wood. Listening to your Sonny & Cher, and Barbara Streisand albums endlessly....... Cruising in your baby blue T top. We grew up, got busy with our families, and when years later we would run into each other, it was like we never skipped a beat. You were blessed with a family that loved and adored you. As you loved and took pride in their accomplishments.
Thank you for all the wonderful memories and laughs, until we meet again, my friend....
Carl, Jeanette, Cory, Helen, and Desi, I apologize for not being able to attend Cam's services. I was out of State and did not learn about it till after the fact. Out living a child must me a painful and heart wrenching experience. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all, and faith can get you through this painful process.
With Love and Sympathy,
Genie Gilley
