Bruce Norman Crisman
Bruce died at age 63 on November, 29, 2015. Bruce was born in Tacoma, Washington, to Harold and Geraldine (Jerry) Crisman, on August 10, 1952, and lived most of his life in Tacoma. As a young man just out of high school, Bruce joined the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War years. After his service, Bruce completed a drafting course at Bates Vocational School in Tacoma and worked for Boeing as a draftsman. He was proud of his precise and neat writing.
As a young man, Bruce put his faith in Jesus Christ. His relationship with his Savior gave him strength and comfort. Bruce was known for his kindness and generosity. He liked to ask silly riddles and make people laugh. He loved to sing. Bruce enjoyed the hobbies of bowling and coin collecting.
Bruce endured suffering throughout his adult life. This deepened his kindness and compassion for others even further.
For the final ten years of his life, Bruce lived at the Washington Soldiers Home in Orting, Washington, where he received wonderful help and care.
Bruce is survived by his sister, Kaaren (Roderick) Graciano, his three nieces, Rachel (Mikhael) Gemayel, Leslie (Ted) Rios, and Elise (Ronnie) Halbert, his eight grandnieces and grandnephews, Alexandria, Micah, Noah, Annalise, Maximus, Lilliana, Violet and Gabriel, plus an uncle, aunt, Samuel and Shirley Crisman and cousins.
