Brian Edward Herrmann's Obituary
On the morning of October 10, 2019 Brian Edward Herrmann of Tacoma, Washington went home to meet his father, mother, brother and grandson Jonathan in heaven at the age of 86. Brian was born to Ernest and Phyllis Herrmann November 1, 1932 in Bellingham Washington. His family relocated to Tacoma, Washington where he made Tacoma his final home. Brian served in the Air Force and retired after Twenty years of service to his country. Brian meet his wife Yoko Takegami while he stationed in Japan back in 1959. He was married a year later to the love of his life in 1960 and raised two children Cynthia and John.
Brian had a great love for adventure and travel.  He loved fishing, bowling and golf.   Brian had a passion for taking pictures of his adventures and he took his wife Yoko wherever they went.  He Donated his free time to the Tacoma Buddhist Temple and the American Japanese Club.  He was a member of the NCO and the Elk’s Club in Tacoma and Puyallup.
Brian is survived by his wife Yoko Herrmann two children and their spouses.  Cynthia and Kevin White, John and Mary Herrmann. Three grandchildren Jay Arends, Suede Miller and Paul White.  Three great grandchildren Jay Arends, Jayci Arends, Peyton Arends and Micheal White.
Brian services will be held at Mountain View, Garden Chapel Thursday October 17th 2019 at 2:00 P.M. Please come and share in our celebration of his life. A reception for family and friends to follow service at the Mountain View Reception Hall.
