Brett Anthony Weygandt's Obituary
Brett Weygandt, lifelong resident of Tacoma, passed away on December 29, 2017 at the age of 34. Brett was born October 3, 1983 to Roy “Bud” and Janice Weygandt. He spent his life in Tacoma, attending Curtis High School. He was a member of the U.P. Ballers basketball team.
Brett had a love for freedom. He had a great joy for the outdoors, and loved jet skiing and spending time with his many friends. His favorite place was Kalaloch Beach. And, when all is said and done, there were two things he loved – the Seahawks and Shannon.
Brett is survived by his fiancé of six years, Shannon Niesen; his parents, Bud and Janice Weygandt; the Tom and Nancy Reeve family; the Patty and John Cabantan family; and Hoyat Beason, Jr. and Jennifer Kirk. He is predeceased by his brother, Michael, and his grandparents Lorna and Hoyat Beason.
Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Aspen Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Reception to follow.
