Brett Alexander Leo Sjoberg's Obituary
Brett Alexander Leo Sjoberg, 33, passed away on April 2, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington, just days after celebrating his birthday. Born in San Diego, California, Brett lived a life filled with music, laughter, and the love of those closest to him.
Brett had a natural ability to connect with people. His friendly smile, kind heart, and easygoing nature made him someone others were drawn to. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, a good song, playing his guitar, spending time outdoors, and being with the people he cared about.
Music was a big part of who Brett was. A self-taught guitarist with real talent, he found joy and expression through playing, and his music brought happiness to those around him.
Family meant a lot to Brett. He was a son, a brother, and an uncle who loved his family deeply. He shared strong bonds with his loved ones and enjoyed being part of their lives.
Brett is dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Raelynn, his father Brian, and his stepfather Michael. He is survived by his siblings Kris (Troy), Alan (Hollie), and Bryana (Mel), as well as his nieces and nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends who were like family to him.
The family has chosen to keep a celebration of life private. If you wish to honor Brett, please consider making a donation in his name to the Tacoma Rescue Mission in recognition of the important support they provided to our family and continue to provide to the community.
“Fly high, free bird.”
