Brenda Zigan was an icon in the mortgage lending industry. I had the pleasure of working with Brenda at Heritage Bank for many years. She was an excellent loan processor and taught many a loan officer how to do their jobs! She taught me alot as well. I never heard her say a bad thing about anyone and she was a really happy person to be around. She was a very honest lady and worked really hard to keep the bank customers and clients happy. She and Mary Burnsides were quite the team there at Heritage Bank!
I was especially impressed that she kept her weekends sacred, always going to "the River". I used to think that I would love to be able to go to a vacation home on the weekends like her. In fact, I bought a lake place a while back, thinking of her the entire time as she was the inspiration for me getting it.
I went to school at Lincoln High and graduated in 1979, so I had the pleasure of knowing and hanging out with her son, Jim. I was so sad when he died. It hurt her alot.
Sincerely,
Julie M. Collison
