Brenda was one of my dearly loved friends. We met on the job and the friendship that came from that acquaintance was very dear to me. We lost touch over the years but her smile has always stayed with me. Every year I remember her birthday because she jokingly said that is was on August One-th. As another has said, she loved her mother fiercely and was always forefront in her mind. She taught me how to make boiled chicken with Frank's Hot Sauce and how to prepare collard greens properly. There are so, so many memories that bring joy to me when I think about her.
To her family, especially Joyce and Verna, know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. May our God richly bless you with his comfort as you grieve the loss of this beautiful lady.

I was so sorry to hear of Brenda’s passing. I only knew Brenda for a short while and have not seen her for quite some time but she left a big impact.

When I think of Brenda I think of her as a small package of dynamite! She was small in stature but was big in personality, compassion and fun.

I will always be grateful to her for the role she played in my daughters life. My daughter interned for her and later worked for her. She was an amazing mentor, coach, boss and friend. She gave her confidence, accountability and friendship. She was a real mama bear to those that she cared for.

I hope she knows how much she was appreciated. She made some big impacts that continue to ripple. My condolences to her family and many friends.

My condolence to the Ramsey Family, I recall when Brenda was a youth, she always had a beautiful smile on her face, a very contagious smile, bestowing smiles upon the faces of others, blessings are the warmth of her smile and what the heart has once known, it shall never forget, may you cherish sweet memories of your beloved Brenda, and may her absence be present with the Lord in sweet rest, peace be with all, and praying for family strength in your new journey.

I met Brenda at Lincoln High School in 1984, where we became the best of friends. Brenda was always fun to be around and if you were her friend, you pretty much had a friend forever. I will always love Brenda as a sister and will miss her tremendously, especially her laugh. Rest in piece my dear friend.
