Brady James Baldoz's Obituary
Our shining star, Brady James Baldoz made his debut on November 13th, 2008 in Puyallup, WA and left this world’s stage suddenly on January 15th, 2017 in Tacoma, WA. From the moment he was born, we knew that he was going to add something special to the world around. He had messy dark hair, big and inquisitive eyes, and a sparkle to his personality that matched his ever-present smile. He was a sweet and happy baby who spent every day with his twin sister Bella. As babies, they did everything together: sleeping, eating, bathing, and playing. Brady and Bella were never apart and it was clear from those first months that they had a bond that could never be broken.
Brady grew into a funny, smart, caring and curious toddler, eager to learn everything about the world around him. He was full of wonder and endless questions. At this age, Brady was devoted to a few favorite toys, his fuzzy blankie, his vacuum, and his stuffed dog Max who he insisted was part of the family.
Brady started kindergarten and thrived both socially and academically; he loved school! His teachers appreciated his unique personality and encouraged him to explore his talents and chase his dreams. Over his past three years at Woodland Elementary, Brady made some wonderful friends who will miss him dearly. He was a lively student, and loved by other teachers and “classroom moms.” Without fail, Brady’s Mom and Dad would be greeted at the end of the day by someone from the school sharing a story of how Brady made them giggle in one way or another. Brady loved school so much in fact that he regularly “played school” at home or in his mom’s classroom whenever he had the chance. Brady loved being the teacher, and when anyone else tired of being the student, Brady would simply play teacher AND student, even assigning homework.
Brady was unique, and his ideas and interests were no less exceptional. He loved vintage movies, venus flytraps, and bits and pieces of pop culture. Brady was a talented author, artist, director, performer, and creator. He had a voracious love for books of all genres, and especially loved his “Goosebumps” collection. He loved to show his bookshelf to guests and looked forward to adding the missing stories to his collection. He wanted to learn about anything, always seeking to know more. Brady loved knowing random facts and trivia. He enjoyed family trips, particularly to Disneyland and loved princesses, music, and dancing. He often would write plays for he and Bella to perform, putting together costumes and musical routines. While Brady was the producer and director, he always cast Bella as his co-star and leading actress.
No matter what drew Brady’s attention, his biggest joy was always in his family and loved his Mommy, Daddy, brother Daniel and sister Bella with all his heart. He was a source of endless joy, laughter, stories and entertainment. As the baby of the family, we will always have a hole in our hearts and lives that can never be filled.
Brady will be missed endlessly by his Mommy and Daddy, Jennifer and DJ Baldoz, older brother Daniel Baldoz, sister Bella Baldoz; his Grandparents Patricia Kester, Diane Baldoz, Daniel Baldoz Jr.; Great Grandparents Beverly McPherson, Jim and Joan Duke; Aunt Karley (Brad) Maybee, Uncles Jason Kester and Joshua Kester; cousins Giovanni Baldoz, Sage Kester, Koda Kester, Tommy Luft, Paxton Kester, and his favorite Aunt Kelsey Kester, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. Everyone who knew Brady loved him and knew that this was a little boy with incredible talents and ambitions who was made to do big things.
Brady is now chasing butterflies, looking for rainbows, and entertaining those we love already in Heaven including his Grandfather Don Kester, Great Grandparents Elmer Kester, Juanita and James Combs, Eugene McPherson, Daniel and Juliet Baldoz Sr., Melba and Jess Withrow, Aunt Lisa Baldoz and Uncle Jason Baldoz.
While losing Brady has been unfathomably sad, we are looking forward with joy to celebrating his life and the wonderful 8 years we had with him. We would love for you to join us as we remember him on Sunday, February 5th, 2017 at 1:00pm at Mountain View Memorial Park in the Celebration of Life Center, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW., Lakewood, WA.
